FAQ

Q: How can I register for a course?
A: Very easily, by completing the online enrolment form. You will receive a confirmation within a few hours.

Q: Can you book my flight?
A: Unfortunately not. However, we can pick you up from the airport and drop you off at the end of your stay.

Q: Can I pay in Euro in Malta?
A: Not generally. You will need to exchange some money into Maltese Lira (Lm). There are several banks and cash point machines that take credit cards in St. Paul's Bay and all over the island. 1 Lm is approximately €2.50.

Q: I am interested in doing diving, water sports, horse riding etc. Can you help me arrange it?
A: Of course!

Q: What is the maximum class size?
A: The maximum depends on the course:

Class sizes
Business -English course 5
General English course 12

FCE und CAE courses

10

TAH and TAR courses 14

Q: Can I do the Business English Course and the General English Course in the same week?
A: We would not recommend it, and the times might clash. If you want to do the Business English Course and want some extra lessons, we would recommend One to One tuition.

Q: Can I start on a Tuesday?
A: Yes. However, for group courses the extra day cannot be made up another week.

Q: Can I book accommodation only?
A: Yes.

Q: How do I apply for a visa?
A: Look at http://www.foreign.gov.mt/service/visa/default.htm . This website will tell you if you need a visa and the application forms are available for download.

Q: How far is the beach?
A: We have a rocky beach one minute away. The sandy beaches e.g. Golden Bay and Riviera Martinique are about 10 minutes by bus, Mellieha Bay (the largest sandy beach on the island) is about 15 minutes away and Paradise Bay is about 20 minutes away. We believe these are the best beaches on the island and we are the nearest English language school to them!

Q: Do students have access to Email and the Internet?
A: Yes, and it only costs 1 Lm for 60 minutes.

Q: When was the school founded?
A: The school was founded in 1987, and moved to the new premises in St. Paul`s Bay in 1999.

Q: Is the school accredited?
A: We are a full member of FELTOM (the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations of Malta). FELTOM sets and upholds standards in member schools.

Q: I have booked a flight with accommodation. Can I register for a course?
A: Yes, subject to course availabilty.
