Junior English Courses

Teen Explorer (TE) ages 12-17

Exploring the English language through immersion! Teens (ages 12 - 17) are given an excellent opportunity to experience English in real life situations. The practice-oriented sessions are held outside the school, with
only a maximum of 6 students per group. Shopping together, Ordering snacks and drinks, swimming and enjoying English at the Beach and many more practical interactive tasks are included in the varied and interesting programme.

Teens are proven to be more motivated to speak and learn English when outside the formal classroom setting and truly find it great fun to immerse themselves in everyday English. All sessions are professionally organised by fully-qualified native English teachers and focus on guiding students towards using correct grammatical structures, vocabulary and improving pronunciation and listening skills.

This programme is also designed to increase the students' confidence and fluency through a learner centred approach. Small groups make it easier for the teacher to concentrate on each student individually and allow students to make friends more easily. In addition, students are able to explore the local area around St. Paul's Bay and to enrich the much wanted holiday feeling! TE is conveniently held at the same time as the adult GE20 & BE20 courses.
